Energy at the speed of AI.
AI is scaling in months. The grid takes decades. Veridian closes that gap.
How We Started
Veridian was founded by Bennett J. Lee while studying as a Sloan Fellow at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. With a decade of experience in advanced energy systems, he asked:
“If AI is growing faster than the grid, how do we build energy systems that move just as fast?”
The result was Veridian — built not for incremental change, but for speed.
Technologies from Sandia National Labs

Veridian licenses cutting-edge technologies from Sandia National Laboratories, the largest national lab in the US.
- $4.4B annual budget.
- 15,000 staff, half with advanced degrees.
- Legacy of building the fastest, most mission-critical energy systems in the world.
Sandia’s foundation allows Veridian to deliver energy solutions that scale in years, not decades.
Leadership
With over a decade of founder and executive experience in advanced energy, Bennett J. Lee is a serial entrepreneur and former nuclear engineer.
At 20, he founded a nuclear startup, raised tens of millions in private capital, and led world-class teams to commercialize a novel medical isotope reactor.
Today he is the Founder & CEO of Veridian, developing breakthrough energy solutions to power AI datacenters, and the creator of Pitch With Power, a business that trains CEOs, investors, and business leaders on pitching.
He holds an MS in Management from Stanford University, and three degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton and Engineering schools — graduating at age 21 with a BS in Economics, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and an MS in Robotics.

Why Veridian Matters
The AI era will be decided by who can scale energy the fastest.
The Bottleneck
Datacenters need gigawatts of baseload power. The grid takes 5–10 years.
The Shift
Energy isn’t scarce — but speed is.
The Solution
Veridian’s technologies unlock and deliver power where it’s needed, when it’s needed.
